♦ Special Offers
Each season we create a group of special offers to tempt you to try something new from the vast range of tourist attractions that surround us during any visit you might make to Sturmer Hall.
Yes, we are famous as a venue hosting really fabulous music gigs, but it is our appeal as a truly unique hotel, conveniently located on the border of three amazing counties that really draws people to us. The No.1 attraction is the number of high quality attractions on our doorstep and the ease of journey to them. The other big attractions are too many to list quickly so please drop us an email with a idea of what rocks your boat and we will be more than happy to update you on on the current seasons list of Special Offers
To get to know the area well and whats on special offer, tour and attraction wise, all you need do is speak with a member of our Guest Relations Team who will be delighted to introduce you to not just whats on locally, but a list of great offers applicable to the period of your stay at Sturmer Hall.
Whether you seek educational trips or a curious tourist’s day out we are sure to have something of interest and with our handy in-house Concierge Travel and Tourism Service at your disposal during your stay we can arrange everything you need from hotel bicycle hire to whisking you off to Paris by Private Jet for date you will never forget.
As long as the weather is good, Tango enthusiasts (advanced and never-before-danced) gather at the mini amphitheatres along the Seine in the 5th arrondissement to dance seductively until twilight. If you don’t want to join in, then simply sit with a bottle of wine on the steps as watching these dancers is still absolutely mesmerizing and incredibly atmospheric.
A little old man sits on the edge of the river with his radio playing tango-esque music and guarding the dancers’ belongings. Spectators watch quietly, listening to the dragging of tango feet on the stone quai. Beautiful Parisian women often turn up alone here in paisley summer dresses, waiting to be asked to dance by strangers. It’s people watching with a very sexy twist– the perfect date spot in Paris.
If that is a little out of budget, remember on a balmy night in northwest Essex you can do something very similar by taking your bottle of wine and your dancing partner on to the Yorkstone Terrace that surrounds Sturmer Hall and trust me the effect will be much the same.
