Booked by a colleague for a business meeting, this hotel turned out to be a real gem. Our rooms were were situated in a small courtyard type garden, away from the main house and very quiet.

A block of four chalet type rooms Ina very modern decor, fitted to a high standard, with all amenities proved to be everything. You’d expect of a higher quality hotel.

The room I was in was very clean and the French doors and full length windows meant that it was also very bright, a welcome change form normal hotel rooms.

Tea, coffee and even hot chocolate was provided, along with a few biscuits for good measure.

The bed was comfortable and along with the peace and quiet of a countryside location away from the road, provided a great nights sleep.

The real value of this hotel though, comes from the attention of the staff, all of whom were extremely welcoming and friendly and really understood what it takes to make a stay in a hotel enjoyable.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who, because of the small and intimate nature of the place, soon became part of the overall experience.

The hotel is used as a venue more than anything else and it’s easy to see why, because the facilities are first class, as is the location.

In all, the stay here provided a welcome change from the normal and in great surroundings.

I’d have no hesitation in recommending it for service, surroundings and standard of accommodation. The staff were all super. We’ll done!

From the time we pulled up till the time we left, the staff couldn’t have been more attentive. We stayed in one of the cottages which was spotless and everything you might need, loads of drawer space, my only niggle, was a shower curtain, not a screen,
We went to see Georgie Fame, and stayed overnight. The surroundings and food were excellent, as was the service. Looking forward to a return visit in the future.
Special thanks to Tina & Daniel.
