A beautiful English Country House, set in 29 acres of gardens and meadow Sturmer Hall offers guests the opportunity to rest, relax and enjoy a break away from home or the office. Situated in the North Essex, on the Southern Cambridge and West Suffolk borders, in the village of Sturmer, close to Haverhill,  yet less than 30 minutes from the world famous University City of Cambridge itself; and idealy suited for guests looking for  race days at the nearby Newmarket Racecourse or Racing Museums.   Saffron Walden, Thaxted, Clare, Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury all nearby, Sturmer Hall is ideally suited as a base when away from home or on a business trip or tourist trip to the East of England.

Located within the Sturmer Hall Estate, in the village of Sturmer, Essex, our estate looks to play an important part in the life of the local community. Situated next door to the beautiful and historic St Mary’s Church, Sturmer. As its closest neighbours Sturmer Hall, and its owners, work tirelessly to help preserve this important Grade One Church.

Our facilities are available to hire at very attractive rates to Sturmer village residents and local groups, as well as a growing list of non-profit organisations providing vital support to our friends and neighbours, both locally and across the region.
