BETTY’S CAFE

Visit our gorgeous new lakeside cafe! We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner in our quaint and welcoming range of cafe’s, including our family friendly ‘Betty’s Shack’ and our kid’s parties at ‘Betty’s Shack-at-the-Back’.

Betty’s is open to Sturmer Hall residents and day visitors alike, we have tables on the lake-side terrace, the lawn or inside Betty’s.

Food is freshly prepared, on site, including breakfast, afternoon teas, light bites, tea and coffee and of course Betty’s delicious freshly made lunches.

Dining is an essential part of the Sturmer Hall experience. Inspired by the pick of field, wood, river and sea, our menus are bursting with flavour and imagination.

From the slightly more formal Music Room to the relaxed and informal West Terrace, we have a restaurant space to suit all tastes, and occasions. Our restaurants are open to Sturmer Hall residents and day visitors alike, although booking is essential if you are a non-resident.

Whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner, our hotel restaurant at Sturmer Hall offers an excellent range of International menus. Food is freshly prepared, with our clientele in mind. With so many of our returning guests aware that we are always happy to prepare their favourite food you will gather what we do, we do for you.

Whether it is business or pleasure or simply a group of family and friends getting together in a beautiful room, settled in the knowledge they will be served good food from a menu to your personally liking, is pretty much the perfect way to relax and enjoy the company of people you have chosen to be with.

At Sturmer Hall we call this special place the Music Room, home to our beautiful and wonderful sounding Yamaha Grand Piano and a place where many a lunch and dinner has been enjoyed. Each menu is created with you and your guests in mind, each place setting dependent on the formality or informality of the occasion. Here is a place you can really relax. Here is a hotel that inspires families and friends who stay overnight, sleep and arise refreshed to complete the experience with a heartening traditional breakfast.

Business lunches and dinners are no different. The experience of talking shop or celebrating a deal are better experiences when they are private and convivial and Sturmer Hall is certainly one of those little gems in the world of private dining and exclusive hotels and we would love the opportunity to share it with you.

Please be aware our kitchen is small. For this reason, we cannot ensure there will be no cross-contamination from one food ingredient to another. Accordingly, the food prepared and served here may contain allergens, including Peanuts, Eggs, Milk, Wheat, Rye, Tree Nuts, Soybean, Fish, Shellfish, Molluscs, Garlic, Mustard, Celery, Gluten, Lupin, Sesame Seed, and Sulphites as well as other ingredients to which you or your guests may be allergic or intolerant.
If you do have a serious food allergen then you should consider very carefully eating with us as, while we will do our best, we cannot guarantee your safety. If you have any special dietary requirements or are in any doubt, please ask for our Assistant Manager or Head Chef before placing your order or taking your seat. They will consult our book of ingredients and advise you accordingly.
